The Bell Rings for Help

Local award winning dining pub, The Bell Inn, Welford upon Avon, is holding a Charity Buffet in aid of the Tsunami appeal on Monday 17th January 2005. Licensees Colin & Teresa Ombler and their staff are working for free for the evening, and their suppliers are donating food and wine for this special event. Customers will be asked to donate at least £5.00 per head, and all monies raised will go to the disaster fund.

Teresa Ombler said, “I feel so awful that, while we were happily working away on Boxing Day and our customers were having such a lovely time, this terrible disaster was happening. So I thought, what better way to help than to do what we do best…provide some wonderful food and drink for our customers, and raise money for the victims of the Tsunami in the process!”
